ilia_kr
A minimalistic Gnome: Currently trying to decide wether not having icons on a desktop is a good thing... Your advice would be appreciated. Edited September 4, 2006 by ilia_kr
arctic
I remove them, so I have the entire desktop as a "work area" available. I don't see the point in having the icons on my desktop as "home", "computer" and "trash" are available in the panel already and the rest in the menu. Just test both options for a week, then decide for yourself. ;)

Darkelve
"Where, Valdez?" Not sure, it was a reservate for Flamingo's I believe... could be Chile, but I don't think so... if I remember correctly, this was somewhere North of Argentina, right after I passed the border from Chile (from San Pedro de Atacama). arctic
Just a screenie from my updated cooker. Visible apps: Gimp 2.3, gnome-terminal and ... Gnome. Metacity is "Clearlooks black-mod dark" (Looks better than the Ia Ora metacity imho). Gtk-theme is the new Ia Ora.
