Well, if people want to see my current desktop check my sig :)

I remove them, so I have the entire desktop as a "work area" available. I don't see the point in having the icons on my desktop as "home", "computer" and "trash" are available in the panel already and the rest in the menu. Just test both options for a week, then decide for yourself. ;)

I had the same on my mind, it's just hard to get used to...

Not sure, it was a reservate for Flamingo's I believe...

 

could be Chile, but I don't think so... if I remember correctly,

this was somewhere North of Argentina, right after I passed

the border from Chile (from San Pedro de Atacama).

Just a screenie from my updated cooker. Visible apps: Gimp 2.3, gnome-terminal and ... Gnome. Metacity is "Clearlooks black-mod dark" (Looks better than the Ia Ora metacity imho). Gtk-theme is the new Ia Ora.
