shimshon
Hi, I successfully installed Google Earth on my computer (Mandriva 2006) The program starts normally but then after a minute or so when I move the earth around it just shuts down without any error message? shimshon
Google Earth was working very good with Windows and the system is the same...
scarecrow
Google Earth was working very good with Windows and the system is the same... But now you are running Linux, and your video driver may run the graphical environment in an acceptable way, but still- if 3D acceleration is not enabled, then no Google Earth. AussieJohn
Hi all. I have been using Google Earth for quite a while now and have never had it crash or any other problem with it. I know it is beta but I can't help thinking you may not have it set up right. I am using Mandriva 2006 with only official updates and using an NvidiaFX5400 card with Nvidias' latest driver so maybe that has something to do with its stability. Cheers. John. PS I am down at Mackay again and my Great Grand Daughter_Mia is just like all of the other girls in the family, simply gorgeous. But what else could I say since they are. :D
scarecrow
Latest beta (build 1693) works great here, no crashes or anything. Using an aged nvidia FX5200, with the 8762 openGL driver.
