ilia_kr
This is a very strange list that describes the most popular applications with critical vulnerabilities (pdf). Firefox is no. 1 :o . IE not even in alist ?! :o How decent could this be?

ilia_kr
mozilla firefox 1.07?.. a little bit outdated.. The one that comes by default with many distros like Mandriva2006 & Fedora Core 4. I gues there are many who didn't upgrade to later releases and use the default one. Still, when 1.0.7 was released they claimed it was the most secure. daniewicz
From the pdf People just cant resist installing their own applications on corporate PCs. Often runningoutside of ITs knowledge or control, popular applications can present serious risks for enterprise computing environments. So this list addresses software that individuals like to install on corporate PCs. Thus IE is not on the list as it comes pre-installed. This list is more about popularity than anything else.
