Anti Virus

Simple answer is no .. but if you send and receive emails scanniing them before forwarding to Windows users is a courtousy and a good way to protect friends who use windows.

Also if you dual boot then antivirus is a good way to pre-scan filesbefore you copy them to a windows disk.

There's plenty of posts on here asking the same question, just do a search for anti virus, and you'll find loads of them giving the same answer.

 

I solely use Linux, and I don't use any anti-virus software. I think the majority are the same, as you'll find from all the other posts on this.

and in the search box, you can enter the information you're looking for. This is preferred to save asking the same questions over and over again which have already been covered. This is preferred, since some posts asking the same questions over and over again, could go unanswered because people might get fed up of replying to give the same answer.

 

Search first, and post later is best if you don't find your answer ;)
