ianw1974
I think if I remember, you press "e" when at grub bootloader, and you can then edit the entry and change the /dev/sdax info in case it's wrong.
uralmasha
I see. I was hoping there was a way to dry-run bootloader from a session. Editing at boot time is hard because you have to be sure to type the kernel//image files right, and they tend to have darn long names! :)

And what Ian said is correct. press e for editing, select the line you want ot edit and press e again. You can also add or remove lines, no problem there. And once you are done, press b for booting and you will see if it works or not. If it won't work, you will get back to grub and can continue editing. ;)
jethro
Is it possible to change from Lilo to Grub?
scarecrow
Is it possible to change from Lilo to Grub? Yes, it's failry easy, and as far as I'm concerned, indicated. The opposite isn't that easy, as LILO cannot overwrite grub as well as a few other third party primary loaders.
