sn8kman Posted May 6, 2006 Report Share Posted May 6, 2006 Ok, I'm familiar with the ServerVTs=-7 line that had to be added to the previous /etc/kde/kdm/kdmrc but I beleive MDE fixed this perviously. I've installed the Multimedia Kernel from the MDE repository and once again, there's no mouse movement when using this kernel. I went back to my old kernel and it works ok. Just curious if this is an easy fix that I'm overlooking? ianw1974 Posted May 6, 2006 Report Share Posted May 6, 2006 Is there any particular reason you're using this kernel over the standard Mandriva ones? I tend to stick with the standard ones, they work well enough. I'd only attempt a newer kernel if I was having hardware problems or something wasn't working.
