Hi,

I just installed Power Pack II. I am looking for a program called xastir. It is used for APRS (automated position reporting system), for ham radio. I used the program in Debian 3.1, and it was easy to find.

So my question(s) is as follows:

Is it availble through RPM or URMPI (sp) ? and where would it be?

or

Do I need to compile the program from source code, which I have never done before, ?

Thanks,

Mike, KD7GHZ

Not to be a stick in the mud, but I don't see it:

< root ~ > urpmq -y xastir
no package named xastir
< root ~ > urpmq -y Xastir
