null
ok, duh, my bad... I was thinking "nogravity" was the executable under /games. It was late. Now, semi-related topic... When I downloaded nexuiz-15.zip, it is now on my desktop. Is this the right file for linux, or is it for windows, or is it the same for either. Wheni I double-click the zip file, it displays the nexuix folder, then double-click that and it shows all the folders & files under it. I'm not sure what the next step is, or is this the wrong download...? I also downloaded cube, hopefully the right file... It resulted in a cube folder under /tmp in my /home. Opening the cube folder shows a bunch of folders and files, but I don't know what the next step is. edit: ok, I figured out that the cube game is runnable as is. When I go into the directory (which is under home/tmp) and double-click the cube_unix shell script, it starts playing... Suppose I need to move the cube folder into /usr/games. Gul Dukat
There is an Mandriva RPM for Nexuiz in easy urpmi. If you like fragging and have access to a great server, this is a great game. B)
null
thanks, I didn't know that. When I urpmi it, it asks if I want the SDL client or the GLX client... Which one?
dexter11
Cube is also a GPL game so it must be a Mandriva package in the repo. It is generally better to use the package manager if it's possible. I would use the GLX version.
