KDM doesn´t accept keyboard input after upgrade

After upgrading KDE to 3.5.2 via cooker, kdm doesn´t accept keyboard input anymore, when I restart X, I can ctrl alt f1 for a very brief time, doing service dm stop and then kdm brings back the keyboard, GDM still works and so does mouse input.

I solved this by installing Beta-Team kde 3.5.2. The above mentioned problem has been solved.

Well in the end it turned out only one line needed to be added to kdmrc for everything to work, although I am interested in a ¨Vanilla¨ version of KDE for Mandriva, do you have link? I really want to be able to make KDE look the way I want it without all the changes both MDE and Mandriva (like the star or mde logo) put in KDE
