Change the font of gtk applications [solved]

I've installed Terminal font which looks great at my LCD TFT monitor but i have a problem.I use KDE and i change the font in the K Control Center but my gtk apps look very ugly and the font in them isn't changed.How to change the font of the gtk apps to make them use Terminal font?

Open a terminal (i.e. konsole) and run:

 

gnome-font-properties

you can change settings for your gtk apps there (font wise). be sure to switch to "Subpixel smoothing (LCD)", this will make the fonts look a lot better on LCD screens.

If you can find it, install the gtk-qt theme engine. It allows GTK apps to use your QT (KDE) themes and settings

 

Even if you dont want to use your QT themes on your GTK apps, this engine provides a easy to use control panel in the kde control center to set your gtk fonts and themes.
