If new, you might have problems getting Mandrake 10.0 to run, because it'll be hard for new hardware. You might wish to try Mandriva 2006 instead if your hardware is new. The problem was in absence of the driver stir4200. Has established GPRS connection, but the new problem has appeared. Do not open web pages through a browser. In the Tips and Tricks section, there is a howto here: https://mandrivausers.org/index.php?showtopic=30815 If not, then edit /etc/modprobe.conf and add this line: alias net-pf-10 off this disable ipv6 system-wide.
