Posted February 27, 2006 Report Share Posted February 27, 2006 Hi, I am using Mandrake 10.1 on my computers, and I'd like to use netgroup to limit access from certain usernames on NIS server to some Linux boxes. However there is not /etc/netgroup file in my mandrake linux version. Could someone show me how can I get the package containing this file? Thanks. tyme Posted February 28, 2006 Report Share Posted February 28, 2006 you could create this file yourself as root and use this information to write it yourself. if you have NIS installed, technically this file should be created automagically.
