jethro
Hi everybody, When I shutdown my laptop I'm getting an error 80% of the times. Here you'll find the error log: (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1". (no debugging symbols found) `shared object read from target memory' has disappeared; keeping its symbols. ianw1974
What version of Mandrake/Mandriva? Have you applied updates?!?
scarecrow
That's an ever infamous bug with kicker- it crashes at KDE logout when some applications are on the system tray (difficult to say which are exactly the apps which cause the crash, but klipper seems being one of them). The solution is waiting for a fix from KDE developers, as this bug has stayed for too long. Surely enough its not Mandriva-specific, aqlthough the way KDE is compiled does matter.
