Guest Binzium
I installed apache off of the mandrake 10.1 DVD. I found the httpd directory and the directoryroot /var/www/html/ . Inside the httpd directory their is multiple httpd.conf files!!! they all have the same directoryroot so I was wondering which .conf file(s) is the one I need to modify? Guest bahadir
Hi Binzium, which apache version is installed? rpm -qa | grep 'apache' in the console will tell you... and then, depending an your version httpd -V for apache or httpd2 -V for apache2 will print the information you need.... buccaneer
you will find both when both versions of apache are installed (ie. 1.* and 2.0) apache will default to version 2.0 it stands to reason that the file you need to edit is httpd2.conf. :D Edited January 16, 2006 by buccaneer
