(befor i recompiled my kernel) and i dont know what all that stuff about Forcing paramater is,.... but here is some more information david david # lspci 02:0e.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. ianw1974 Posted December 15, 2005 Report Share Posted December 15, 2005 What did you do during installation, when it first failed to compile? Did you remove it, and then reinstall, eg, using the commands below? emerge --unmerge ndiswrapper (to remove) emerge ndiswrapper (to install again after kernel recompile) if not, suggest doing that in case the existing install is missing something. Also, after that, have you followed the ndiswrapper install guides, which are really good: http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/mediawi...x.php/Main_Page this will help when relating to commands to get ndiswrapper working after the emerge.
