Jza Posted November 22, 2005 Report Share Posted November 22, 2005 I want to install a network printer on my mandrake the issue is that the authentication wont work unless I use cifs from my //server/network so I have curently: smb://user:password@SERVER/printer however the problem is that since I can't put CIFS it still fails to mount.
