kfoss
I've recently forced myself to upgrade from 10.0 to 2005LE. In 10.0 I have each of my three desktops with its own background. As well my menu had the most recently used applications. I've been through the KDE setup and cannot find how to do this now. Any help? arctic
It is all in Kcontrol. For the background, simply go to appearance, background and there should be a button for enabling/disabling multiple backgrounds, if I remember well. For the menu, go to the (I think it was) panels section. There you should be able to define how many "most recently used apps" you want to have at the top of your menu. If it won't work, you might need to switch from the mandriva menu to the original kde menu using menudrake.
