Guest gulsuner
Is there someone who can install 2 isa sound cards on a linux machine. My cards are sb vibra 16, and on board ess18xx. Edited October 24, 2005 by gulsuner
crazyspongebob
Can you disable the onboard? I wonder. J.T.
coverup
I have onboard sound and SB Live running side by side with no problems on a mandrake 10.1 box. Harddrake detected both cards and configured them.
Guest gulsuner
I can configure ESS onboard but can not use without problems. I can only use SB16 when I disable onboard ESS. alsaconfig and redhats' sndconfig can not detect and configure when 2 of them is installed and active from bios settings. crazyspongebob
I think with ISA soundcards, you can have only one card at the time. J.T.
