Debian DVD's

Recommended Posts

I downloaded with FTP in the end, the jigdo stuff was a complete waste of time.

The first DVD I thought I'd downloaded fine, I could access it as an ISO, but it failed to burn. I figured something had gone wrong, so I downloaded it with FTP instead. It was much quicker, even though they stated jigdo would be faster!

Well, I could install fine if I mount the ISO and do it that way, but when I burnt this one, I get problems trying to read it. Bizarre. Maybe I need to burn it slower, I did the DVD at 4x, thinking this would be fine. I guess not! :P

As it happens, I also have downloaded DVD 2 as well now, and shall be attempting with that this weekend.
