PIM (Personal Information Management) for Linux

I have been working on migrating to Mandriva LE2005. I use Act! 6.0 in Windows which is similar to M$ Outlook. I have both. I have more than 1000 contacts in my database, and don't care to type them all into a new Linux database. I have used Kontact (ugly) and not good for a migration after using Act, or Outlook. I have recently tried Evolution and found it to be a much nicer looking program, and seems more usable, however - no import feature. It import four types of database, none of which M$ Outlook, or Act export to.

1. Does anyone have another suggestion for a program replacement?

(Email client, Contact manager, Calendar management, To Do list - & Palm sync-ability - it appears that Evolution does all this, and looks nice.)

2. Does anyone know how to get my contacts into Evolution? (I can export to csv, txt, and so forth).

Thanks!

Shane

Great! Thanks! I finally got the contacts to export to a known format. However, it only imports one at a time???:wall: Ok, I'm looking for answers to question 2. What other M$ Outook look-a-likes are there? I appreciate the help, devries, but Evolution should allow basic importing of csv, or even txt. That is sad that it cannot even import those two options.
