ilia_kr
Hi, I wanted to share a single folder with all users on my box and to share it on the LAN, so i created a folder in /home, named it 'Share', configured the samba and changed the permissions so that everyone can modify that folder. Everything works well, but everytime i logout and then login, the permissions change back to root (only the root can modify). - Why does that happen? - Is it possible to share the folder outside /home/user with everyone, like i want? Thanks. [moved from Software by spinynorman]
