polemicz
How did you set up Kmail. Forget about the XP system and put in your email settings (Pop3 , server, etc.). More details on what you have tried will help us get you set. Email is prtetty simple as long as you have your mail server info set up. Ronin
You set it up the same way you did/do on a windows computer. Open your mail client of choice then its usually something like Tools/Accounts etc and fill in the blanks with the correct information. devries
In kmail you have to set up 2 things: accounts (just like in windows) and an identity. I guess you haven't setup a identity.

polemicz
It occurred to me that you may have had a cd from your ISP that set up mail automatically for Outlook Express, so you never had to enter your settings. If so you can get the setting info from Outlook Express (don't know where as I've never used it) by going through the menus looking for tools or settings or whatever.
