Make a bash script, add it to the menu, then use that?? Can't be! Where's the config file for the keyboard?! Anybody? Or does X-Bindkeys do volume too? xbindkeys or acme? Somebody help me! :( In xbindkeys, you can create a new key for volume down, push 'Get Key' and push the down volume...then for action, you would put aumix -v-5 And the other for volume up. I tried Babelfish, but that is always a poor translation. It looks like a tutorial on how to edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file to point to the layout of your keyboard for multimedia keys, but crucial parts of the tutorial I cannot translate properly.
