Reiver_Fluffi
Kopete superior to gaim? haha good joke. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As much as I love KDE and it's apps, I still had to laugh with Lowe on this one, GAIM wins hands down, IMHO! Although I have had a look at knemo, on the face of it, it looks superior to the mandriva net_applet, might have a look later on this evening...... AussieJohn
A much needed item for Knemo is the ability to disconnect from the internet as can the other network monitor. Since I am using adsl this is a good thing to have so that I can disconnect and reconnect when I want. I know kweather and time etc., are also disconnected but they update quickly when reconnected to the net so that is a non issue. It feel it just contributes a little more to security. Knemo is an excellent package and I have been using it since it first came out. The developer is a thorough gentleman and readily helped with any difficulties I experienced initially. A nice piece of work.. Cheers. John.
Edd
Kopete superior to gaim? haha good joke. I actually said "Kopete to be superior to Gaim for my needs". It's an opinion, ironically.
Reiver_Fluffi
Altenatively, you could edit the images to remove the transparent layers, like I did : https://mandrivausers.org/index.php?act=Att...pe=post&id=1842
