Evolution 2 icons/widgets

I have had a chance to look at Evolution 2 (FC4) - what a 'change'! I have not noticed much added to its functionality, but boy, they tried hard to make evo look as boring as possible! I run evo under KDE 3.4, and the contrast is remarkable...

Is it possible to make evo look a little bit brighter, say, using some nice icons/widgets or something?

the same person that made the ugly default icons for gnome made evo's icons

/usr/share/icons/hicolor/24x24/stock

good luck finding them

I believe they used to be in /usr/share/evolution but then were put in with the other 500+, I guess in an attempt for a more uniform look? :wall:

I stopped trying to find my way out of the gnome icon maze.

Oh boy, this guy is probably color blind, I wonder if he knows colors other than gray :lol2:

Edit: Hmm, the stuff which he's done for Novell is actually quite nice. We may only wonder why Evo stuff for gnome is so boring...
