Hi!

I've just bought a Logitech Quickcam Express, thinking it will just be plug and play as stated in many posts here and in the web. Unfortunately, that was not the case when I plugged it in. When I run lsusb, the output is:

Bus 005 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 003 Device 003: ID 0db0:6970 Micro Star International
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 046d:0928 Logitech, Inc.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

Now, the product ID is not listed here and here. The output of harddrake2 for the device is:

Identification
Vendor: ‎

Description: ‎Camera

Media class: ‎

Connection
Bus: ‎USB

Bus PCI #: ‎1

PCI device #: ‎5

Vendor ID: ‎1133

Device ID: ‎2344

Misc
Module: ‎unknown

I tried loading quickcam and videodev manually but it still did not work. I tried loading spca5xx but apparently its not included in the kernel. I'm using mandriva le2005

Any help would be very much appreciated
