Isn't Cooker stuff like beta/unstable? I"m afraid of adding the media sources to urpmi and then having my whole system go to hell. But you can try from the Cooker source RPM's and "rpm --rebuild" although it isn't easy (Many RPM's to be built, per Mandrake's packaging policy) or by using Garnome. I'll just stick with the 2.8. At least my laptop is stable most of the time. I still get lock-ups when trying to play Enemy Territory or if I let fgl_glxgears run for more than a few moments.
