phunni
Anybody know why I can't enable punkbuster for multiplayer RTCW? I have upgraded to 1.4 GOTY and the installer said it was installing punkbuster. I am quite limited in which games I can join unless I can get this working. When I click on the punkbuster:Disabled box - I get a dialog asking if I want to enable punkbuster; I click yes but nothing happens - still disabled :(
hjlane3
isn't the newest version 1.41? Thats what i have installed. Maybe upgrading to that will fix your problem.
DOlson
Also, make sure you actually chose to install PunkBuster when you installed the game.
phunni
I did install punkbuster, but it still doesn't work. I will try to upgrade to 1.4.1 and see what happens
johnnyv
I have had a prob with punkbuster with wolf before, ended up not being able to enable pb, which was strange as there was no config changes at all(running version 1.41). After alot of screwing around i got it working buy using the "pbweb.x86" update utility. edit: You stick it in the user data pb directory (me bad, i got it the wrong way around when remembering) /home/john/.wolf/pb in my case. After running the utilty it fixed up my pb problems. Direct link http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbweb.x86 support page http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=...e=support#force Hope this sorts you out.
