Very cool! Can you port one for KDE too :P

 

Just kidding, I might switch to Gnome soon enough anyway, the only thing that gets me is I can only run 1024x768 on my lappy, and everything looks toooo big! :D

 

Not figured out how to make the icons, etc, smaller.

you can change all this stuff in the gnome-control center. the icon-size is controlled in the tool for files preferences, the font size can be reduced to e.g. 8 pts, the taskbar can be made smaller with a right click → preferences (to e.g. 20 pts). ;)

meeeeh, lärs... those colours hurt my eyes! B)

 

here is a screenie of my desktop (which hasn't changed at all since late april) with some icons that i am currently creating (it will be a very very long way 'till the whole set is finished).

 

of course, these are just the first sketches and i guess there will be some changes done later to those. but first i will concentrate on adding more icons. dustbin, floppy, desktop,...
