polemicz
Just did the latest updates and find that I've lost my ability to set screensavers (lost my all time favorite Tux). Running 2005 and KDE. Whatever I do in KDE Control Center goes for naught (it actually shows my selection of Tux) and I just get this ugly Mandrive slide show. I miss my Tux. polemicz
Got it fixed. Appears to be some muck with Gnome. I disabled the Gnome screensaver and then saw that somehow gdm was my display manager, which I set back to kdm. It appears that there is some crud with KDE and Gnome in 2005 not always acting nicely with each other (such as the font problems that have been noted). Anyway I'm happy now.
