In any case, is anyone having problems with 9.0 dropping the network connection? I crawled out of bed this morning to find I couldn't go anywhere online. After checking that the nics were all green, killing the ISP gateway ( as vibe can majorily suck that way) I went into MCC/Network to find the network down. It was a simple matter to bring it back up but that was definatly a first. The nic is a 3com509c which didn't ever do this on 8.2 and while this is the first time it's happened on 9.0 its darned odd. CU_Penquin Posted October 18, 2002 Share Posted October 18, 2002 Im experiencing the same thing only with more frequency. Ive checked all my network settings, but to no avail. Ive double checked the connection (cable charter pipeline) with my windows partition and all is well. With mandrake 9.0 it is droppin my connection about every 15 minutes.
