As far as playing any games that have a Linux server but no Linux client,... I'm kind of opposed to that.

It's cheap of the developers to say that Linux is worthy as a mule for a multiplayer game, but is unworthy of consideration to play the thing natively. Sure, sometimes it has to do with budget rather than appreciation or distain for Linux (i.e. Raven and Jedi Outcast),...

But, from now on, I am going to have serious reservations about buying a game that is willing to have a Linux multiplayer server, but no gaming client. Currently, I have and run Jedi Outcast and Elite Force in WineX (and like the way they run in under Linux better than under Windoze), but in the future, if a game has a Linux server but no Linux client, I'm going to count that as a strike against it,... and if I absolutely can't live without it, and there is a PS2 version,... I'll get the PS2 version.

Sheesh. If I had a PS2, it wouldn't matter what game it was, or what platforms it's for, I'd get it for PS2. Why? Because then you have no problems with GL, crappy sound, etc etc.

But I'd also buy the Linux native verison at some point, just because I like to collect games. :D

BTW, I got MediEvil 2 last night for PSone and also a mini arcade stick. :D

Tekken 2 is SWEET with an arcade stick, LET ME TELL YOU.

Thanks. :D The URL would be the same as before, if the server was actually online. I *do* have an update planned, but I'm caught up in school right now and so on.

Anyhow, TTYL.
