scoopy
FYI: Mandrake announced that their documentation for 10.1 is now available online at: http://www.mandrivalinux.com/en/fdoc.php3
DragonMage
Kind of late, isn't it? :)
Guest Adriano1
They always are. Docs for release X are only put online when release X+1 is out. They've been doing this for at least 3 releases now, I think. Still, I don't think you miss much from using 10.1 manuals for 10.2...
DragonMage
Well.. I think the docs for a particular version should be out the same day the downloadable isos are available in the mirrors. A few weeks late is better than a few months late :)
solarian
the current version docs are probably a club member only feature..
adamw
I don't remember if the current docs are in the Club. The current policy is more about protecting the documentation as a 'feature' of the box sets - for some people, getting the manual is a big reason to buy the box set, they'd feel a bit upset if it turned up for free on the website after half a week :). Guest Adriano1
Actually, as far as I can see, I can install the current docs from urpmi, as I did yesterday. Try it yourselves . But they _always_ appear later in the website. Edited April 13, 2005 by Adriano
adamw
well, people who buy the box sets don't need to know that people who don't can get those packages, and what they don't know can't hurt 'em, right? ;)
