aspguru
Hi, guys, Not sure if any of you have experience with mdk smp? My Dell workstation 670 comes with dual Xeon CPUS, and my mandrake system is 10.1 official. This is what it looks like when I typed in: uname -a Linux (my compute name) 2.6.8.1-12mdksmp #1 SMP Fri Oct 1 11:24:45 CEST 2004 i686 Intel® Xeon CPU 3.00GHz unknown GNU/Linux This is the result when I typed in: Linux version 2.6.8.1-12mdksmp (quintela@n5.mandrakesoft.com) (gcc version 3.4.1 (Mandrakelinux (Alpha 3.4.1-3mdk)) #1 SMP Fri Oct 1 11:24:45 CEST 2004 I've followed the instruction on this board (http://www.mandrakeusers.org/index.php?showtopic=4567), but only get the no precompiled kernel stuff. Do I need to download some kind of rpms? Thanks. Edited April 8, 2005 by aspguru
