sys is 1.7ghz, 512m ram

MDK 10.2

Installed 10.2 because it had 'ivtv' already installed.

However, there are no /dev/video* as I understood there would be.

lsmod does not list ivtv.

modprobe ivtv give this error?

[root@localhost don]# modprobe ivtv

FATAL: Error inserting ivtv (/lib/modules/2.6.11-1mdk/kernel/3rdparty/ivtv/ivtv.ko.gz): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

dmesg show this:

ivtv: Unknown parameter `card'

Also:

cannot install .tar.gz files due to no 'make'.

[don@localhost freej-0.5]$ make

make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.

installed via 'urpmi' kernel-source

[root@localhost freej-0.5]# urpmi kernel-source

The package(s) are already installed

However, can not find 'build' anywhere on sys except as follows:

/usr/src/linux-2.6.11-6mdk/3rdparty/mkbuild.pl

/usr/src/linux-2.6.11-6mdk/Documentation/kbuild

/usr/src/linux-2.6.11-6mdk/Documentation/kbuild/kconfig-language.txt

/usr/src/linux-2.6.11-6mdk/Documentation/kbuild/00-INDEX

/usr/src/linux-2.6.11-6mdk/Documentation/kbuild/makefiles.txt

/usr/src/linux-2.6.11-6mdk/Documentation/kbuild/modules.txt

/usr/src/linux-2.6.11-6mdk/arch/i386/boot/tools/build.c

/usr/src/linux-2.6.11-6mdk/arch/x86_64/boot/tools/build.c

/usr/src/linux-2.6.11-6mdk/fs/jffs2/build.c

/usr/src/linux-2.6.11-6mdk/scripts/Makefile.build

/usr/src/linux-2.6.11-6mdk/scripts/package/builddeb

Any ideas on how to solve these?
