Recommended Posts

Use the rpms from OOo (link). Install every one of the rpms (except the redhat and suse ones) with rpm -ivh *. Don't use urpmi because the dependencies are off. It will install in /opt/something where you will find startup scripts like swriter (or oowriter I dont remember exactly). Doubleclick those or run them from a console. (later you can add them to the startmenu)

ok i downloaded the rpm packages, but how do i install them exactly, do i doubleclick on the packages to run the install or if not, can i have the detailed command to enter ? I must say taht i am at a loss.
