arctic
Hey ho.. i have been running cooker now for some time. yesterday, i installed the latest packages and BANG! the system does not boot anymore. it hangs after the alsa configuration (alsa is marked with [OK]). can anyone tell me, which service was coming right after alsa? i think that one messed my system up and maybe it can be fixed with a live-cd. the annoying part is that my rescue mode does not help either. no commands can be executed because i cannot even get to the command line. so, can anyone point me to the right direction? or does anyone know of the bug that decided to have a happy life on my box? :P if no one has any idea, i am not afraid of reinstalling the system. so i am not in a desperate position (mdk is only my play around distro atm). cheers
liquidzoo
I had that same problem. Did you update the kernel as well when you ran your updates? I had to do that before it would boot properly.
