Damnation Posted April 1, 2005 Report Share Posted April 1, 2005 Heya, i need to install internet explorer 6 on linux. so that i can run aol communicator. so i can finally get online (out of all isp's in britian aol does best 56k IF u only use the dialer no waol.exe crap) i did have the most recent version of wine but i get a debug error then i get from the ie install some random can't install modules or somthing. so i contacted a aol user who stated i needed: cedega winetools wine-20050111-mdk.i586.rpm i get those and install wine + winetools. some stupid \*new*\ thing shows, never makes the config correctly, can't install ie because it moofs up. and i try to run install ie sp1 but it tries to download it and well i ain't on the net on linux yet : o( any help would be so greatful [moved from Software by spinynorman] Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
