highking
Last week I've upgraded my Mandrake 10.0 installation (installed from the original, bought dvd), to version 10.1 via urpmi. Ever since that, I can't run ANY graphical mandrake configuration tool. When run one of these programs in a console, I get the following message (Dutch): Afbeeldingstype van bestand '/usr/share/icons/drakconf.png' niet herkend at /usr/lib/libDrakX/ugtk2.pm line 613. In English, this should mean something like this: Image type of file '/usr/share/icons/drakconf.png' is not recognized at /usr/lib/libDrakX/ugtk2.pm line 613. I've tried reinstalling all drak* packages, but that didn't seem to work. I've downloaded drakconf-10.1-1tex.i586.rpm from rpm.pbone.net since that seems to provide this drakconf.png file, but that didn't solve any problem also. Anyone? EwanKho
Did some googling and found this. Don't really know what it does but maybe you can try it out.

scarecrow
Same problem here when I first installed 2005LE- however, an update solved the problem (likely a broken libpng3 package).
