Cannonfodder
Do a board search for /etc/fstab Youu can also read our FAQ section. Here's some stuff to read http://www.mandrakeusers.org/index.php?showtopic=4960 http://www.mandrakeusers.org/index.php?showtopic=6388 Basically, in order to mount any partition, you need to add an entry to /etc/fstab for that partition. fstab is processed on startup to fully mount "EVERYTHING". If you cleared out your fstab file, your system wouldn't startup. Note: Make a backup copy before you start working with this file. Just in case you need to restore it. Note: You can test your changes by unmounting the partition you referred too and then typing mount -a This will mount all fstab entries. If you still have questions, come back here :)
