XMan357 Posted February 28, 2005 Report Share Posted February 28, 2005 I bought Acer tavelmate 4050 (almost the same as 4052) I tried to instal mandrake 10.1 on it every thing went perfect every thing correctly detected after installation I started mandrake and it worked fine Then I restarted my labtop again and mandrake doesn't woork any more It always halt while starting pcmcia So I installed mandrake again but this time I've disabled the pcmcia service from starting at boot. again it worked fine at the first time and when i restart it halt while booting. this time it halt on net profile I tried to enter the interactive mode by pressing (I) It ask me if i want to start whatever [Y/N] Then it halt. some times also it halt while it is detecting my hardware what makes me made that linux start fine for the first time after installation But when I restart it halt.
