problem with yumex [solved]

this happens whenever i try to install something, i am not sure why this happened, but it just started to happen....

That would be why, your using a yum from atrpms. This is just an example of why I don't like using his packages. Axel updates "base" packages that I just completly don't agree with.

 

The only reason I would use his packges for me personnnely is "MythTv" rpms and that would be a dedicated PVR box so it wouldn't matter as much to what was being updated.

 

I use the following enabled

 

base

updates

update-testing

extras

 

From time-to-time for special packages I use Freshrpms and Dag and if you leave them to enable=0 all you have to do for example is

 

yum --enablerepo=freshrpms install xmms-mp3

 

Anyway, thats just me going on with some useless info other than Atrpms updated your yum and that is why yummex isn't working.
