Leeroy1978 Posted February 19, 2005 Report Share Posted February 19, 2005 Hi I've recently installed mandrake 10.1 on a new machine with a memory card reader incorporated within the machine itself. Initially, it seemed to work ok, but now its just disappeared. I have done some other software installations since the install but i'm not sure at what point is disappeared. It was available on the device /dev/sdb1. I've tried fdisk -l and cdrecord -scanbus but there is absolutely nothing there! Any ideas? I am fairly new to linux so please go easy on me!
