frosterrj
I have 10.2 beta installed on my laptop, but had to add the pcmcia package after the install since it wasn't installed automatically. When the machine boots, I can see the log saying "starting PCMCIA".......OK but in actuality after booting it is not started. In MCC/services, pcmcia is listed as on-boot yes, but is not running- status is stopped. How do I get it to actually load? If I modprobe pcmcia, I can see 2 modules loaded, but I still cant get driverloader to load the card because it cant see any pcmcia devices. Thanks for any pointers... frosterrj
My solution was to add 'modprobe yenta_socket' to the end of the rc.local file.
