I need help wiht my hauppauge 250 tv tuner/pvr. I looked here in Tips & Tricks

Then I followed the instructions and I type in make and I get this

make

make -C /lib/modules/2.6.8.1-10mdk/build SUBDIRS=/home/administrator/ivtv-0.3.2c/utils/ivtv-0.3.2c/driver modules

make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.8.1-10mdk/build: No such file or directory. Stop.

make: *** [all] Error 2

Any Ideas how to solve?

Sounds like you dont have the kernel source package installed. urpmi should be already set up to use your cd media (or whatever you used to install mandrake). all you should need to do is open a console and use the command

su -

{{enter root password}}

urpmi kernel-source

then try 'make' again.

I entered that in it said everything already installed and then I tried make again and it said the same thing.

I added a folder build where it says there is no folder build and it says this

[administrator@localhost driver]$ make

make -C /lib/modules/2.6.8.1-10mdk/build SUBDIRS=/home/administrator/ivtv-0.3.2c/utils/ivtv-0.3.2c/driver modules

make[1]: Entering directory `/lib/modules/2.6.8.1-10mdk/build'

make[1]: *** No rule to make target `modules'. Stop.

make[1]: Leaving directory `/lib/modules/2.6.8.1-10mdk/build'

make: *** [all] Error 2

[administrator@localhost driver]$

Another person said to do something and it worded I could type in make and make install but now I can't enter in

7: type 'depmod -ae'

8: type 'modprobe ivtv'

Both of them say there is no action. When I go on as root it doesn't show anythign it just goes

[root@localhost driver]# depmod -ae

[root@localhost driver]#

Now what do I have to fix?

It says this. I don't think it works.
