Which cdrom does not work to play audio cd's? have you tried the other? If Kscd runs but your getting no sound then it found the audio cd but the problem is in either getting the sound to the sound card(need the cable or the app cdread)or getting the sound out of the card to the speakers(cheaking the mixer app) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Pzatch Posted January 26, 2003 Report Share Posted January 26, 2003 The cable should have come with either the cdrom or sound card. If not then find a local shop that does computer work, the cables are cheap and they probobly have few laying around. You will need to install it from the back of the cdrom you want to play audio from to the input pins on the sound card.
