Audio cd has no file system and cannot be mounted.

How am i supposed to use them then?

You just put the audio CD in the drive and run a CD audio player like CD Player (the program is actually kscd).

Glitz.

Do you have the small cable attached to the cdrom and sound card?

Which cdrom does not work to play audio cd's? have you tried the other?

If Kscd runs but your getting no sound then it found the audio cd but the problem is in either getting the sound to the sound card(need the cable or the app cdread)or getting the sound out of the card to the speakers(cheaking the mixer app)

The cable should have come with either the cdrom or sound card. If not then find a local shop that does computer work, the cables are cheap and they probobly have few laying around.

You will need to install it from the back of the cdrom you want to play audio from to the input pins on the sound card. Linux needs it to play directly to the sound card so your computer does not slow down playing music.
