ljmm
I installed dvd::rip on my ML 10.1 system. When launching in KDE nothing happens (probably busy behind the screen). When I launch from Konsole I get "segmentation fault". Looking for hints I read on a forum that typing in a console : " LC_ALL=C /usr/bindvdrip" solves the problem. I tried and it does !!! However I like to understand why and also how I could correct this permanently. Anyone an idea ? Thanks
Dyslexic
I'm not sure why you're having that problem, but you should be able to use menudrake to change the "execute" command to the one that works.

ljmm
Can somebody tell me what: LC_ALL=C does or means ?
Dyslexic
LC_ALL=C overrides the i18n locale with the POSIX locale.
