YaAqoB
Hello all. I'm still quite new to Linux and have never tried emulation before. I was wondering if people can tell me if the follow fault is an easy fix as I would love to get DVD Shrink working on Linux which I hear works well under wine. [james@localhost DVD Shrink]$ sudo wine DVD\ Shrink\ 3.2.exe Password: fixme:ole:CoRegisterMessageFilter stub err:x11drv:X11DRV_CreateWindow invalid window height 0 err:x11drv:X11DRV_CreateWindow invalid window height 0 err:listview:LISTVIEW_WindowProc unknown msg 1044 wp=00000000 lp=4069dfbc fixme:quartz:Filtergraph_QueryInterface unknown interface {03a1eb8e-32bf-4245-8502-114d08a9cb88} wine: Unhandled exception (thread 0009), starting debugger... err:seh:start_debugger Couldn't start debugger ("winedbg --debugmsg -all 8 160") (2) Read the Wine Developers Guide on how to set up winedbg or another debugger [james@localhost DVD Shrink]$
Guest Pinck
hmmm, thats different than the one that I'm getting : [john@localhost DVD Shrink]$ wine "DVD Shrink 3.2.exe" fixme:ole:CoRegisterMessageFilter stub err:x11drv:X11DRV_CreateWindow invalid window height 0 err:x11drv:X11DRV_CreateWindow invalid window height 0 err:listview:LISTVIEW_WindowProc unknown msg 1044 wp=00000000 lp=406adfbc fixme:quartz:Filtergraph_QueryInterface unknown interface {03a1eb8e-32bf-4245-8502-114d08a9cb88} wine: Unhandled exception (thread 0011), starting debugger... fixme:console:SetConsoleCtrlHandler (0x405cfbf0,1) - no error checking or testing yet WineDbg starting on pid 0x10 Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x00000000 in 32-bit code (0x00000000). In 32 bit mode. 0x00000000: addb %al,0x0(%eax) Wine-dbg> for me it opens the basic windows and layout, but puts nothing in it and does not refresh anything within that space. I figure I'm halfway there, but the other half I'll need help with. Guess I'll go spend some quality time with my friend Google....
