imwithstupid
I'm setting up the ol' ipod on my gf's comp and i'd like to make some scripts for mounting and ejecting the ipod. so far i have one that goes: su mount <mounting stuff> exit exit and i have it running through a link on the desktop which lets it run in a terminal window. I'd like her to be ablet click the icon, type in her password, and have the terminal window close. how do i do this? Qchem
If the DE is either Gnome or KDE you could try using either gnomesu or kdesu gnomesu mount foo may do what you want.
